Delegation of UM School of Public Health Pays a Visit to China
（March 6, 2009）The delegation of UM School of Public Health (hereinafter referred to as "UMSPH"), on February 21, 2009, arrived in Beijing Captital Airport, to begin its seven-day visiting trip in China.
The delegation, led by UMSPH Vice-President, Dr. Matthew L. Boulton, and accompanied by LV Hong, Program Manager of UM-PKU Joint Institute (JI), visited China Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China National CDC), and had a pleasant meeting with CDC director, Prof. KAN JianLi, and other China CDC officials and teachers. The delegation later parted for Tianjin for a further visit to Tianjin CDC.
UM- PKU Joint Institute (JI) is the only institute in China which is wholly responsible for the Delegation’s itinerary planning and activity arranging in Beijing, and an effective coordinator for the Delegation in contacting with other agencies and institutions in China.
