Frederick G.L. Huetwell Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and the Department of Statistics at the University of Michigan. He is also affiliated with the Population Studies Center and the Survey Research Center of the Institute for Social Research. PKU Academic Director: Guo Zhigang
Professor of Department of Sociology, Peking University. His major research areas are demography, Sociology of Population, social Survey, Methodology of Statistics. He is member of USSP, Council Member of China Population Information and Research Center and Gerontologicaal Society of China.He has edited, co-authored and translated a number of books on demography.
2、Chinese Studies and Social Theory:
UM Academic Director: David L. Porter
Associate Professor, Department of English and Program in Comparative Literature, University of Michigan. Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Stanford University. He is fluent in French and German, good Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. His research areas include: Travel literature, aesthetics, eighteenth-century cultural history, China and the West, internet culture. His works includes :“Ideographia: The Chinese Cipher in Early Modern Europe”、“Internet Culture”、“Between Men and Feminism”
